What Are Creative Quests?

I'm SO excited to share this powerful tool with you: Creative Quests to Create the life you want!

Many people talk about manifesting and creating what they want in life, but we often forget that we were put on this earth to survive and pick up traumas and limiting beliefs along the way. You may want $1,000,000 or that amazing relationship, but do you feel WORTHY of it? That's what these quests aim to sort out.

I've created the acronym L.A.I.I.M.A.  The word Laima with I in the middle representing you!

In Baltic mythology, Laima has an incredibly appropriate meaning for what we're looking to do:

  1. Laima (Latvian and Lithuanian mythology): Laima is the goddess of fate and luck, associated with birth, destiny, and fortune. She is one of the most important deities in these mythologies, often determining a person's lifespan and guiding their fate throughout life. Laima is sometimes depicted as three sisters who control different aspects of a person’s destiny, akin to the Fates in Greek mythology.

In The Creative Quests, the acronym reads as:

L ∞ Limiting Beliefs

A ∞ Awareness

I ∞ Inner Child

I ∞ Inward

M ∞ Manifestation

A ∞ Affirm

What do these mean? Let's dive in:

L ∞ Limiting Beliefs

We all grow up with society, our parents, our siblings, you name it, impacting how we perceive ourselves.  These are instilled in us as Limiting Beliefs. Limiting beliefs are deeply ingrained thoughts or assumptions that restrict an individual’s potential by creating self-imposed barriers. These beliefs often stem from past experiences, cultural conditioning, or negative self-perceptions, and they influence how a person views their abilities, relationships, and opportunities. Common limiting beliefs may include thoughts like "I’m not good enough," "I don't deserve success," or "Things never work out for me." Over time, these beliefs can become self-fulfilling prophecies, leading to behaviors that reinforce them, ultimately hindering growth, success, and well-being.

A ∞ Awareness

One of the MOST valuable tools we have is becoming aware of our actions, our behaviors, and our habits. The only way to escape the Limiting Beliefs is to become aware of them and see them in your daily life. We have to move from SUBJECTIVE or Self, to OBJECTIVE or out of self.  Awareness of one's actions is crucial because it fosters conscious decision-making and self-regulation, allowing individuals to align their behavior with their values and goals. When we are aware of our actions, we can better understand the motivations and consequences behind them, which promotes personal growth and accountability. This awareness helps in identifying patterns that may be unproductive or harmful, providing the opportunity to adjust and make more thoughtful, intentional choices. It also enhances emotional intelligence, enabling improved relationships and better responses to external circumstances, ultimately leading to a more empowered and fulfilled life.

I ∞ Inner Child

There's an Inner Child in us all, and they did what they had to to survive. And how valuable is that? We explore and sit with our Inner Child through Journal Prompts and Meditation. The inner child refers to a psychological concept that represents the childlike aspect of a person's subconscious, encompassing the emotions, memories, and experiences from early development. This inner child holds both the joys and the wounds from childhood, influencing how we react to situations, relationships, and challenges as adults. Engaging with the inner child involves acknowledging unmet needs, unhealed traumas, and unresolved emotions, allowing for healing and personal growth. By nurturing and reparenting the inner child, individuals can develop greater self-compassion, emotional resilience, and a deeper understanding of their behavior patterns, leading to more fulfilling relationships and a healthier emotional life.

I ∞ Inward

Now we need to explore our emotions. What comes up when we become aware of these habits? These Limiting Beliefs? Identifying emotions in the body is valuable because emotions are not just mental states but physical experiences that influence our overall well-being. Emotions manifest in the body as sensations—such as tension, warmth, or tightness—which can signal underlying feelings like stress, joy, or anger. By recognizing and naming these emotions, we can better understand their root causes and how they affect our physical and mental health. This awareness allows us to process emotions more effectively, preventing them from becoming trapped and causing chronic stress or illness

M ∞ Manifestation

This is the fun part. We have to now explore EXACTLY to the fine detail what we want in each of these Quests. What does it smell like? What does it feel like? What emotions would you experience when this becomes your reality? Manifestation is the process of bringing desired outcomes or experiences into reality through focused intention, belief, and aligned action. It is based on the idea that thoughts, emotions, and energy have the power to attract corresponding results in life, whether it’s personal growth, relationships, career success, or well-being. By clearly visualizing a goal, feeling as though it’s already achieved, and taking steps toward it, individuals can align their subconscious mind with their conscious desires. The key to successful manifestation is maintaining a positive mindset, overcoming limiting beliefs, and staying open to opportunities, trusting that the universe or energy around them will help bring their intentions to fruition.

A ∞ Affirm

It's important to integrate this new version of yourself into your life. You'll be around the same people, the same job. You have to push through and affirm this new version of you! Affirmations are positive, present-tense statements used to challenge and reframe negative or limiting beliefs, and to promote a desired mindset or outcome. They are crafted to reinforce self-worth, encourage specific goals, and foster positive changes by focusing the mind on constructive thoughts and beliefs. Repeatedly affirming these statements helps to embed them into the subconscious mind, gradually altering thought patterns and behaviors. This practice supports personal growth by creating a more optimistic outlook, enhancing self-confidence, and influencing actions in alignment with one's goals, ultimately leading to transformative shifts in how one perceives and interacts with the world.

It's important that you do these in order. And sit with each one for as long as needed. The Affirmations are there to use over and over, and if you need to go back and sit with your Inner Child, please do so.
